Iris Co., Ltd. visits the test match! Thank you for your continued support!
Many people, including President Okuma of Iris Co., Ltd., visited the test match against VfR Wormatia Worms held on March 1, 2025.We were able to have a special time as we had the opportunity to interact directly with everyone who supports us on a daily basis! Our relationship with Iris Co., Ltd. dates back to the 2015/16 season, when FC BASARA Mainz was still in its second year of establishment. For nearly 10 long years since then, they have supported us in various ways. As FC BASARA Mainz Chairman Yamashita says, "I strongly feel that our relationship is not just limited to sponsor and club, but rather like a 'family'." Through our long journey together, even though our fields are different, they have been a strong ally, fighting alongside us on the international stage and working as a partner to mutually elevate the club. "Let's fight together." Every time Iris-san says those words, we feel their weight. As we continue to create an environment where young Japanese people can challenge the world through football, we are nothing but grateful that we can continue to forge a future together. Thank you very much for traveling all the way from Japan to Germany this time. Let's continue to fight together as "family"!

My grandfather, Haruo Kawamoto, deeply loved soccer in Kobe and established a sports foundation, providing long-term support for the development of junior youth generations and coaches. We believe in the "power to bring peace to the world" that sweets and sports possess, and as a bridge between Germany and Japan, we have loved and will continue to love sweets and sports. FC BASARA Mainz's challenge is akin to Juchheim's challenge to revive Baumkuchen in Germany, and we "Shinzidate" (support from the heart) this encounter of comrades who will together achieve their dreams through sweets and sports. Today, March 4th, is "Baumkuchen Day." This day was established to commemorate the first sale of Baumkuchen in Japan on this day in 1919.
