Joint Event with Mainz Japanese Supplementary School
On May 24, 2025, with the cooperation of the Mainz Japanese Supplementary School, we held "Basara Sports," an event where the school's children and students engaged in physical activities with 감독岡崎 (Director Okazaki) and the players and coaches of Basara Mainz!The theme of this event was "moving our bodies while learning Japanese," and we conducted activities tailored to each age group.The background to this event was a desire to meet the need for "opportunities for children and students to move their bodies while using Japanese, which would be greatly appreciated, even though they attend our school once a week to learn Japanese." We believed that FC BASARA Mainz, being operated by Japanese individuals and possessing expertise in physical movement, could offer the optimal event to address this need, leading to its organization.The participating children and students were engaged and enjoyed themselves throughout the event, and seeing their smiles made us, the staff, truly feel that hosting this event was worthwhile.We hope that this event will be a catalyst for continued active involvement with the Mainz Japanese Supplementary School through various activities in the future, as fellow Japanese-operated organizations based in Mainz.We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Mainz Japanese Supplementary School and everyone who was involved in this event.FC BASARA Mainz will continue to strive daily to deepen its ties with the Japanese community in Germany through such activities. Report and Thank You for the Conclusion of the 2024/25 Season
To everyone, Thank you very much for supporting FC BASARA Mainz during the 2024/25 season. Honestly, we didn't achieve our goal of promotion to the 5th division, making it a season filled with regret. However, we finished 5th. It wasn't an easy journey, but thanks to the dedicated efforts of our players and staff, and your passionate support, we were able to reach this position. We are truly grateful. This past year was a "year of transformation" for the club. While the results might suggest we are still halfway there, looking back at our progress, I feel it was a year where the club's foundation became stronger, and we were well-prepared for the next step. It was a year that gave us a sense of accomplishment. And with the 2024/25 season, the club has completed its first decade since its founding. We sincerely thank everyone who has supported us this far. The next ten years will be the time to "turn dreams into reality." First, we will definitely secure promotion to the 5th division next season. And beyond that, the entire club will push forward towards the significant goal of "German 3rd division." The 2025/26 season, the beginning of a new decade, marks the start of BASARA's second chapter. All players and staff will fight with all their might.
