[FC BASARA Mainz x Chef☆Kids Co-hosting] Onigiri Workshop Event to be Held
On September 20 and October 4, 2025, we held an "Onigiri Workshop Event" at our home games with the cooperation of Chef☆Kids. The purpose of this event was for children living in Germany to experience making, eating, and enjoying "onigiri" (rice balls), which is one aspect of Japanese culture, and also to provide the onigiri made by the children to the players as a post-game snack. On both days, many children exceeding the capacity participated, and the venue was filled with smiles and energy. The children happily challenged themselves to make onigiri, and the players seemed to enjoy the onigiri they received. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Chef☆Kids and all the other parties involved for their cooperation in holding this event. FC BASARA Mainz will continue to promote the appeal of Japanese culture in Germany and value interaction with the local community through such activities.
