What BASARA MAINZ aims to achieve
FC BASARA MAINZ (hereinafter referred to as FCBM) is not just a club that aims to be successful as a soccer club, but a club that focuses on "developing people" by providing a "gateway " for players to take on challenges overseas and a "stepping stone" for them to grow as people.
The reality is that many young people venture overseas without sufficient preparation, and face high barriers such as language, culture, lifestyle, and football environment, causing them to give up halfway through their aspirations.
We are at the entrance, accepting challengers and creating a place where they can gradually acquire the skills necessary to survive abroad.
The wall itself cannot be lowered. However, if there is a stepping stone, it is possible to overcome a wall that was previously insurmountable. FCBM aims to be that entity.
There is no guarantee of success when taking on a challenge, but we want to provide a place where young people who believe in themselves and aim to grow can take on challenges head-on.
"To go beyond the boundaries of soccer and develop talent who can thrive overseas."
That is the core of the FCBM project.
Two targets
1. Promotion to the German third division
FCBM currently plays in the 6th division (Verbandesliga), considered the highest level amateur league in the German football league's 11-division system.
This category is clearly separated from the semi-professional leagues at the fifth division and above, and represents a major turning point for challengers.
FCBM believes that in order to attract highly motivated overseas challengers and advance to the next stage, it needs to be placed in a more attractive and more visible league .
The German third division , which we aim to play in, is known throughout Europe as a place to discover young talent, and is home to the second teams of many top clubs. By playing in the same league, players have a much greater chance of catching the eye of top clubs and higher divisions.

Furthermore, due to the geographical location of Mainz, there are multiple professional clubs within a 100km radius, and promotion to the league will greatly increase the value of the platform for producing talent .
Furthermore, the German third division is attracting attention throughout Europe as a development league, making moving up to a league in another country a realistic option.
It is possible for an individual to advance from the sixth division to a higher league, but the path is very narrow and success tends to be limited to individuals.
That is why FCBM places great importance on the club being in a league position that is worthy of the challenge .
To be in the third division and create an environment in which challengers can move on to the next stage.
This is FCBM's top priority and a philosophy that sets it apart from other football clubs.
②Establishment of the International Academy
Establishment of the International Academy <br/>This is not an outlandish idea, but rather a function that is an inevitable extension of FCBM's activities, and we believe it is the ultimate embodiment of the idea of it being "a gateway to overseas challenges and a stepping stone for growth."
The more you aim for the higher leagues,
- Intensifying competition within teams limits opportunities for challenge. - There is also the contradiction that stricter club standards do not necessarily align with developing players.
To resolve this contradiction, what is needed is a football club with an educational function , in other words, an international academy like a school. It integrates language learning, training, lifestyle guidance, and employment and career support, and provides more challengers with opportunities to grow without being tied to club membership.
This will provide challengers with a stronger springboard to overcome high obstacles.

Once this foundation is in place, it will become a gateway for young people from Asia looking to take on the world, and we believe it will become a unique training base in the world, an "academy by Asians, for Asians."
It's not enough to just go abroad; it's the experience of facing different values and challenging environments that helps people grow.
We believe that the environment that FCBM has cultivated in Germany can provide value to people living in the future, not just in the world of football.
