Recently, Shinji Okazaki, a Japan national team player and our super advisor for Basara Mainz, visited us. The players seemed unable to hide their nervousness and excitement at his sudden visit. There was a practice match that day, and Okazaki watched the game and was seen giving advice to the Japanese players afterward. That evening, he took several Japanese players to Niko Niko-Tei, a sponsor of Basara Mainz, for a dinner party. The players asked Okazaki various questions, such as how to manage their physical condition and strength training, and he answered each question earnestly, making it a very valuable time for the players.
On the last day, he practiced with the Japanese players and taught them warm-up exercises and ball drills performed by the Japan national team.
Okazaki has transferred to Malaga in the Spanish second division this season. We look forward to his success in his new team and will strive to achieve our goal of promotion together.
