An exchange meeting was held between the players of FC BASARA Mainz and students from Clark Memorial International High School, who are on a short-term soccer study abroad program.
During this exchange, the players candidly shared their experiences, including the reasons they decided to challenge themselves abroad, how their impression of playing changed before and after going overseas, the difficulties they faced living in Germany, and their future career plans.
The students listened intently to the honest words of the players who moved to Germany to pursue their dreams, their eyes shining as they asked questions.
Furthermore, during lunch, lively conversations unfolded in a relaxed atmosphere, with groups formed by two students and one player. This allowed the students to gain a closer understanding of "the importance of taking on challenges" and "the appeal of playing overseas."
This exchange provided the high school students with an opportunity to broaden their horizons, and it was also a valuable time for the players to reflect on their own journeys.
FC BASARA Mainz will continue to be a club that inspires dreams and hope in young people who aspire to challenge themselves abroad.
